Who are the Kalamazoo Jaycees?

Our organization is the Kalamazoo chapter of the United States Junior Chamber (better known as the "Jaycees"). We are a collection of young men and women between the ages of 21 and 40, focused on professional development, personal growth and community service.

The Kalamazoo Jaycees is a diverse organization, both professionally and geographically. We have members that are realtors, engineers, chemical technicians, designers, administrative assistants, attorneys and many other professions.

We have members originally from Michigan, Alaska, California and Illinois - and from global locations like the Ivory Coast, Turkey, St. John and India.

Our chapter runs a large number of fun activities and projects. Some activities are just for fun; some are designed to teach a unique skill or serve the community; others are organized to raise funds, either for the chapter or for a community organization.
