2009 Adopt-a-Family Details

Article posted on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 4:09 pm by Eric the Web Nerd

We have figured out what we are doing for the Adopt-A-Family. Please see below for the schedule:

Monday, December 14: 6pm at Meijers on Westnedge we will be going shopping to get any items that still need to be picked up. If you would like to go please meet us there. We will meet on the general merchandise side of Meijers. Should take no more than an hour.

Tuesday, December 15: Gift Wrapping Party at Ryan Hawkins house at 1823 Cumberland Street in Kalamazoo (off of West Main and Drake). Wrapping party will take place at 6:30 pm and will go until all presents are wrapped. We will be providing holiday music, pizza and pop. If you would like something other than that, please feel free to bring it.

Thursday, December 17: Drop off to the family, time TBD. As soon as I know, I will let you know.

IF YOU HAVE PRESENTS: You may bring them on Monday when we go shopping, Tuesday when we do gift wrapping, or on Wednesday to the GMM. If you are bringing them to the GMM and can wrap them in advance that would be helpful.

Please if you wrap the gift in advance of getting it to Emily, mark on the gift who it is for. If you can’t make any of these things next week and have a gift to get to me that is fine too. Emily can come and get it from you anytime (provided we are not snowed in). Please e-mail or call Emily if you need her to pick up stuff from you.
