Ghosts of Kalamazoo 2009 – Volunteers Needed!

Article posted on Friday, July 31, 2009 at 11:11 am by Eric the Web Nerd

We’re starting to put together our annual Ghosts of Kalamazoo Historic Tours, and we would LOVE your help and input. For those people who haven’t heard of our annual October project, here’s a quick blurb and a link for more information:

“Modeled after the ghost tours found in big cities all over the country, the Ghosts of Kalamazoo Historic Tour hopes to provide history with a twist — delivering the weird, the haunted, and the historic stories found throughout Kalamazoo.”

It’s a fun project, but a large project, so we need plenty of hands. We have all kinds of jobs – event coordination, ticket takers, tour guides – something for everyone. We’re probably doing three unique tours this year (specific weekends in Oct TBD).

We’ve run this two straight years – selling out the tours each time – and we have raised a ton of money for a great charity. If you would like to be on the Ghosts of Kalamazoo Committee or if you would like more information, please e-mail Eric at eschmidt@kalamazoojaycees.org.
