Happy Thursday, Kalamazoo Jaycees and potential members! How about this weather?!
You should consider yourselves fortunate. It being April 1, I was going to title this post “Eric Schmidt Named People’s Sexiest Man for 2010.”
Good thing for all concerned that I chose otherwise. Anyway, here’s what’s coming up:
FRIDAY: Art Hop
It’s a small Art Hop, but a fun one. It’s all about the Park Trades Building, there will be lots of places to visit!
SATURDAY: Egg Hunt
We’ll be down at Mayor’s Riverfront Park on April 3 for the annual Egg Hunt. Parents, bring the kids – it’s always a great time!
NEXT SATURDAY: Game Night
Next Saturday marks the return of Game Night!
JUST ANNOUNCED: Scavenger Hunt
OK, this is cool. The City of Kalamazoo is putting on a Scavenger Hunt on Wednesday, April 14 at 4:00 p.m.
“This hunt will take participants around the City to many of the historical sites that you may have forgotten about or didn’t even know existed.”
Teams are made up of four people; Eli Money and I have formed a team, and we need two more. And there’s nothing says we can’t have a second team, if there’s enough interest.

Come out for an afternoon of fun as the Jaycees try to Conquer the Ice on Sunday, April 18 at Lawson Ice Arena. Family friendly, so invite your friends, and bring the kids!
