Sorry for the delay in sending the newsletter last week. I was caught in a giant cloud of volcanic ash. Rumors that the cloud is actually the smoke monster from Lost are unfounded…
Here’s what’s coming up this week and in the future:
WEDNESDAY: General Members Meeting
Our monthly General Members Meeting is this Wednesday, held at the Sol World Cafe in the Radisson. Social starts at 6:30 p.m., meeting starts at 7:00.
Don’t worry if you aren’t a member. Guests are ALWAYS welcome, it’s a great way to learn about our chapter and what we do.
NEXT SATURDAY: 1st Quarter Convention
It’s one of the most popular conventions of the year, the 1st Quarter Convention at Boyne Mountain Resort, taking place Friday, April 30 – Sunday, May 2.
There are several Kalamazoo Jaycees making the trek, so there should be carpooling options if you’d like to go.

“Meet the Jaycees”: Tuesday, May 11 at Pappy’s on Westnedge – This is the perfect event for non-members who want to know more about who we are and what we do.
Island Fest: Thursday, June 17 – Saturday, June 19 – Our biggest fundraiser of the year!
Taste of Kalamazoo: Thursday, July 22 – Saturday, June 24 – Our second biggest fundraiser of the year!
