Do you remember coloring in a coloring book as a child? Recapture the fun as you learn how to relieve stress at the Kalamazoo Jaycees Coloring Party on Wednesday, March 26 at 6 p.m. The coloring party will begin at 6:00pm for half an hour of socializing and may include a special guest. It will be held at Everest Institute, which is on West Main near Drake, behind the Lowe’s and the Westwood Post Office.
The coloring book for the party is the companion to the book “Three Good Things,” written by local (Portage) author, Erika K. Oliver. According to the front cover, “It is a coloring book for everyone!” The coloring book even includes a list of Crayon Rules. One example is “Do color every day… don’t wait for instructions or approval to color.” In the same spirit, all participants will receive a coloring book and a box of Crayola Crayons. Light refreshments and snacks will also be provided.
