May’s General Membership Meeting (GMM) will take place on Wednesday, May 19. Social starts at 6:30 p.m., the meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. sharp. The meeting will take place in the Sol World Cafe of the Radisson in downtown Kalamazoo.
The GMM is a good time to learn more about all the upcoming projects our chapter will be involved in. Guests and non-members are always welcome!
Bonus: Relay for Life Baked Good Auction at May GMM
We have four members committed to donating baked goods. We are looking for more members to bake a tasty treat to auction at the May GMM. For those who do not enjoy baking, you can help too by bringing your dollars or checkbooks to purchase a delicious treat.
All money raised from the auction will be donated to the American Cancer Society and help our chapter meet our aggressive $4000 fundraising goal. If you have friends that want to check out a Jaycee meeting please invite them to the May GMM and tell them about the auction.
If you attended the Progressive Dinner last fall you may remember Heather Barsy’s pie or perhaps you have sampled some tasty creations of Michelle Lorimer! Rumor has it our Relay for Life chair Amber Benn is an excellent baker. FYI: Jason Bocade, there could be a lemon cake with your name on it, bring your wallet!
