One Million Meals for Haiti
On Sunday, June 20 from 4-6 p.m., the Kalamazoo Jaycees will be helping The Salvation Army work to package ONE MILLION MEALS to be sent directly to families affected by the Haiti Earthquake Disaster.
The event will be taking place at the OLD Sam’s Club at 665 Mall Drive in Portage. Volunteers will assist in a 12-14 person team to pack relief meals for Haiti. Volunteers must commit to a minimum of 2 hours, and they will help to measure ingredients, fill bags with food, seal packages, and box completed meals.
Volunteers 13 years old and younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
