Planetarium & Museum Trip
On Saturday, August 7 at 9 a.m, the Kalamazoo Jaycees will be headed down to the Kalamazoo Valley Museum for a showing at their state-of-the-art planetarium. We’ll be watching Laser U2 – if you have seen laser shows before, this is beyond anything you have seen!
After the show, you are welcome to explore the museum. Their featured exhibit is Out of This World, famous original costumes from some of the most popular science fiction and fantasy films and television shows of all time. Indiana Jones’s leather jacket and whip, Darth Vader’s cape and helmet, and the Wicked Witch of the West’s hat are a few of the highlights.
The museum is located at 230 North Rose Street. The cost is $3 per person. This is very much a family-friendly event, so feel free to bring the kids!
