Walk for Warmth
The Kalamazoo Jaycees will be participating in the 17th annual Walk for Warmth in downtown Kalamazoo. The walk will take place on Saturday, February 27, starting at the First Baptist Church in downtown Kalamazoo. Our team will meet for registration around 8:30 a.m.
Walk for Warmth is a county-wide effort that provides emergency assistance to help pay energy bills for those in need – seniors, people with disabilities, single parents, and the working poor. Walk for Warmth is the funding of last resort after all resources have been exhausted.
Last year funds helped over 45 individuals and families in Kalamazoo County stay warm during the winter months.
If you would like to participate or need more information, please contact Heather at 269-340-0033 or community@kalamazoojaycees.org.
