The Kalamazoo Jaycees and the Greater Kalamazoo Area Holiday Food Drive present Mayhem Manor: Holiday Havoc Murder Mystery Dinner on Friday, December 12 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Gull Lake View Golf Course & Resort in Augusta.
Come join the community of Kalamazoo for a night of mystery, theatre, music, dinner, raffles, prizes and fun – all for a GREAT CAUSE!
Holiday Havoc is a murder mystery dinner performed by the GR Improv Troupe and is an excellent way to “liven up” the holiday season! In addition to visiting and networking with other tables, there will be time for tables to have a gift exchange (if they choose) and dance the night away to a symphony ensemble!
There will also be 50/50 raffles during the event, and prizes for the first table to correctly solve the mystery and the person to bring the most non-perishable food items. We will also have a photographer available to capture your holiday memories.
Limited lodging is also available if reservations are made in advance. Contact Gull Lake View Golf Course and Resort at 269-731-5090 for more information.
If your business would like to sponsor your table, you will be provided with a table tent as well as having your logo featured in the program and on the Holiday Havoc website.
A portion of your ticket may be tax deductible over fair market value of the ticket price. Fair Market Value of the ticket will be listed on tickets for income tax purposes.
If you have any questions about the event, please call 269-343-2355. This promises to be a great time!
In 1993, The Greater Kalamazoo Area Holiday Food Drive began with a few law enforcement agencies and one school providing food baskets for 40 Kalamazoo Area families the weekend prior to Christmas.
Each successive year the number of people supporting the food drive grew, and so did the number of families served. What began in 1993 with a handful of volunteers has evolved into the Greater Kalamazoo Area Holiday Food Drive, the largest holiday food distribution program in West Michigan.
Over 100 agencies, including The Salvation Army, The Department of Human Services, The Kalamazoo Community Foundation, businesses, schools and hundreds of citizens provide the funds and volunteer hours to continue this effort to lend a helping hand to Kalamazoo Area families during the holiday season.
This year’s Food Drive will be held on Friday, December 19 and Saturday, December 20 at the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds. Visit the Food Drive website at www.kalamazooholidayfooddrive.org.
